These are some examples of the types of mediation I have been involved in.
Civil
Neighbours in dispute regarding property boundaries, wildlife and a Conservation Area in order that one resident could sell their house. The in person mediation resulted in agreements that allowed the house sale.
A relationship breakdown resulted in a financial disagreement relating the sale of property worth £700,000. The in person mediation resulted in a settlement that enabled both participants to avoid costly legal fees and feel satisfied with their share of the sale proceeds.

Commercial
A relationship breakdown between directors of a company resulted in a stalemate of ongoing and future work. All participants could not agree on how the situation could be resolved. A remote mediation allowed for the company with an annual turnover of £500,000 to reach a resolution that allowed all parties to undertake new work.
Company directors who had been married wished to avoid legal proceeds, so separated their assets through an in person mediation.
Workplace
Two faith leaders found their working relationship to have become extremely difficult, causing damage to their communities, and making future plans impossible to implement. An in person mediation allowed agreement to be reached regarding future working.
A dispute between a line manager and a team member reached the point where neither felt they could return to work. Mediation allowed apologies to be made, and both participants to return to work.

Community
Two neighbours in a block of flats were involved in violence and threats between one another. A police ordered mediation allowed for understanding to be gained, and apologies to be made.
Two neighbouring families were in dispute regarding access, noise and behaviour of children. In a multi-lingual mediation involving an interpreter, agreement to make changes to arrangements was made.
