I’m a certified Mediator with the Civil Mediation Council and the International Mediation Institute having trained with the London School of Mediation.
I have a PhD and MA from the University of Exeter, and have significant experience working for charities including Alliance House Foundation, the Diocese of Exeter, The Methodist Church and Exeter Food Action in a number of roles including Project Management, Learning and Development, Treasurer, Secretary and Chief Executive.
I have also worked within the live music industry as a tour booker, tour manager, musician and promoter.
Although mediation doesn’t need to be limited to the Mediator’s areas of experience, these industries are ones that I’m very comfortable working within.
I am insured, and I abide by the European Code of Conduct for Mediators (pdf).
I am also a registered Data Controller, and all data held is treated in line with GDPR laws.
I have signed the Mediators’ Green Pledge, which is issued by the World Mediators Alliance against Climate Change, and outlines a list of measures that mediators can take to reduce the climate impact of their work.
